For your school report, you should make sense of the data one your own. Remember that you can email your instructor if you have any difficulties.
To research your school, you should consider the questions about schools that we brainstormed in class and decide on some questions that YOU think should be answered in your description of your school You should research at least four of the indicators on the school report page for your school to gather information that you feel will serve as evidence for your description.
Questions that you would like to find answers for:
1) What is the school environment like? (Both academically and socially)
Is it a good learning environment? Is it safe?
2) Where is the school located?
What other schools are in the district?
3) What are the demographics of the school?
Teacher to student ratio, Gender, Socio-economic, etc.
4) What extracurricular activities/special programs and classes are available?
Vocational services?
5) How is the school funded? How is the budget broken down?
6) What are the opinions of the students/teachers? The community?
School spirit? Community involvement?
7) Are the teachers competent and certified to teach?
8) How well do the students perform?

9) How well is the school maintained?
Is it clean? Is the building safe?
